Wild Impressions of Dublin

Dublin the capital of Ireland, where you don’t just party on Friday and Saturday, but also Sunday, Monday and so on. We just went for a little walk through Temple Bar, and then we stopped because we heard some live music from every single pub. Everyone was singing “whiskey in the jar”, or “wild rover”. We couldn’t avoid smiling and joining in.

There are a lot of different cultures, and creepy people in Dublin. But they have one thing in common, which is their hospitality. They are all very happy, and they want to show us the best things in Dublin, including pubs and their nature. Speaking about nature, we went on a trip to Wicklow Mountains, only a half-hour from Jacobs’s inn, where we lived. We saw some beautiful and enormous mountains, plus wild rivers.

We went to a Catholic school in Dublin. Here we met boys from different classes, even other countries. Ninety percent of the schools in Dublin were Catholic and the boys were separated from the girls, and they were wearing uniforms in school every day.

A normal day in Dublin started with breakfast at 7:30 AM. The breakfast was a bit boring, white bread and cereal, and that was it. When we had finished our breakfast, we went on sightseeing, which was boring as well, mostly because of yesterday’s events – we were all very tired, and had hangovers. Then we went home to the hostel, and bought beers and snacks. The boys were taking a nap, while the girls were talking and eating – surprise. When the clock turned 7:00 PM, we started drinking again in our little “game room”.

We went home from the pubs at 12:00 o’clock, on time every night! ;)

Everyone had something new to tell every night.

Our friendship developed immensely on our trip to Dublin.

If we had the opportunity again, we would without a doubt go back again.
